Don't Believe Everything You Read

Regarding today's New York Post article, I never once represented to the reporter that I believed Jill Kargman copied my idea for Hedge Fund Wives. In fact, I told her the exact opposite, that Jill and I had spent the summer together in a mommy and me class with our children not knowing that the other was working on such a similarly themed book.

Also, for the record, I like Jill very much. She's funny and talented and I was thrilled when she asked me and my daughter to join the class with her and her lovely daughter. As I told the reporter, I wish Jill the best of luck with her book and am looking forward to reading it when it comes out.

I had to learn the hard way to consider the source of lies like this. I can't keep count of the fools I've suffered now!

Don't get in the mud with this rubbish. You'll only get dirty and they'll get what they want: A response. You know who you are, and your friends and loved ones do too.

But I have to say, shame on the reporter (and the gossips who tipped him/her off) for bringing V into the lies. A toddler? That's the definition of desperate for story.
