Hi Everyone,
Hedge Fund Wives big launch is less than a month away, which means that it's time for me to get ready to head out on the road again. It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating the release of Gilding Lily (see above photo from the party Epic Resorts threw for me in Miami this past fall), and while I'm excited about meeting readers, hooking up with old friends and having a valid reason to splurge on hair appointments and manicures--oh, hair salon, how I've missed you--I'm not particularly excited about leaving my kids and husband behind, even for one night.
Plus book launches are stressful. Not every book party is as much of a slam dunk as my parties in Miami, New York and L.A. were the last time around. Sometimes competing events, weather, or, as was the case in Nashville for my signing at the Fiandaca store, a GAS SHORTAGE, can conspire against you.
