Wedding After-Parties for the New York Times

I wrote a piece about wedding after-parties for the New York Times. My wedding was in Costa Rica and we didn't have an after-party per se, but we did two really cool things. The first was the tequila table, which was brought out while the main band took a break. We'd hired a Mariachi band to play while the table was out, but what we didn't realize was that our friends would down so much tequila so quickly, so the Mariachis basically played one song. The second thing we did was serve a pseudo-breakfast--roasted pork, rice and beans and scrambled eggs--after midnight. Max and I left the wedding after the midnight meal, if memory serves correctly, but I heard people were still partying at six a.m.
